Covid-19 Location & Studio Policies & Procedures

General Policies & Procedures
It is the firm policy that Hydren Portraiture operate under the highest standards at all times concerning the safety and well-being of our clients and our staff. Due to the health and safety dangers associated with the Covid-19 pandemic we are updating our standards for cleanliness and safety in accordance with best practices.
Adherence to State and Local guidelines
Above all, as professional photographers, we believe in being good community citizens. Working cooperatively with our state and local leaders to provide a safe environment. Adhering to guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control, we believe we can reopen our photography businesses safely, and at the same time, contribute in to the emotional and financial healing process that needs to take place in the current COVID-19 world.

Personal Protective Equipment
The use of PPE such as masks and gloves will be used while working with clients. We recommend that this measure continue through the end of phase three as outlined in recently released federal guidelines. The guidelines can be found at: https://www.whitehouse.gov/openingamerica/
Employee Guidelines
Studio employees or photographic assistants who are sick are expected to stay home. As studio owners we will provide training and educational materials available through the CDC website on proper sanitation, hand washing, cough and sneeze etiquette, use of PPE, and other protective behaviors. All areas of the studio will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, and not used for congregating.
Social distancing / No touch
We will maintain social distancing, using no-touch posing methods at all times. Until further notice is received from the CDC and other health officials, the maximum gathering for a photographic session of 10 or fewer persons will be observed.

Stables, Barns and Covered Arenas
All equine sessions will be conducted outside.
We will discontinue all in barn and in covered arena photography sessions until state and/or federal guidelines change, opening barns and stables to people other than their staff and horse owners.

In-Studio Sessions
Only in-studio product sessions will continue to be available. If you need to be present during the session we request clients to limit themselves to 2 people.
In-Studio portraiture will resume based upon state and/or federal guidelines.
All business branding, family, children, baby, and high school senior portrait sessions will be conducted outside at safe, suitable locations to be determined at client Discovery Meetings.

Photographic Equipment
Cleaning of photography equipment will include wiping down with disinfectant at the beginning and end of each day of use.
Computer surfaces will be wiped with disinfectant prior to each day’s use.
All staff members will wash their hands prior to putting on gloves.
